Meeting Street Therapeutic Groups
Meeting Street
Therapeutic Groups. It’s so much fun, the kids don’t know it’s therapy! Summer
Groups Now Enrolling!!
We have found that some children with particular therapy needs are better served
in group therapy sessions. In the group setting the children get the benefit of
interacting with other kids while working on their special need. Like most kids
in any group activity, kids in our group session push themselves to do their
best or even be the best.
Kids that come to the Meeting Street groups have fun! Little do they know that
this fun is leading to improved skills. Our expert therapists offer a variety of
sessions for children who need help with social skills, impulse control,
attention span, balancing, handwriting or are struggling with sensory processing
issues.
We make therapy sessions fun by conducting many of them in our therapeutic
pools, our gym, in the library or on our playground; all accessible by children
of all abilities. Meeting Street is a perfect solution for the summer. And it is
easy to get to our new campus at 1000 Eddy Street, Providence -- just off Route
95.
Summer Groups Now Enrolling!!
Meeting Street is pleased to offer children a variety of therapeutic groups
addressing a range of therapy needs for children aged 3 – 11 this summer.
Attending a group therapy session at Meeting Street is an ideal way for a child
to extend therapy sessions received during the school year so skills developed
during the year are retained and improved during the summer months.
